Tone

Definition:
My definition of tone would be "how you express and show your voice through letters in bold or italics and words used."

Example:
"Honey, I understand it hurts."
"No you don't, mom. You DON'T know how my life works!"
"Well if you'd just give me a chance."
"Whatever. Go bother my brother, Lance."

Significance of the Term:
It's important because when you put bold letters or italics or capital letters into a phrase, it expresses how you feel and shows your emotions so that the reader would sort of feel what you feel.
